About
Ashley Wallach is a STEM-focused tutor with over 10 years of experience. She works with students to build excellence in their science and math subjects, from elementary and middle school fundamentals to advanced high school and college coursework.
Ashley's passion for STEM began in her freshman year of high school, and at 16, she was named the national winner of NASA's "Cassini Scientist for a Day" essay contest. During high school, she conducted archival research for Rory Kennedy’s documentary, Above and Beyond: NASA's Journey to Tomorrow, and took all the AP courses available to her.
Ashley went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Sustainability Sciences with a minor in Astronomy and Astrophysics from George Washington University and further trained through NASA's L'SPACE Academy at Arizona State, where she studied mission procedures. Now preparing for nursing school, Ashley will couple her love of caring for people with her love of STEM.
Ashley’s strong suit is knowing where students get stuck and how to help them get past it. She combines the rigor of a future nurse with the patience of a teacher who genuinely loves these subjects and wants her students to love them too.
